Bed & Breakfast, Ellen’s premiere movie is now available for download at BitTorrent for $9.99.
A few weeks ago I got an email asking did I still have a copy of the Ellen switch story that was originally posted on Apple’s site. I first answered the email with a no, but then remembered the Internet Archive: Wayback Machine. Without a hitch I was able to pull up the original page in which Ellen debuted. Enjoy.

Well it looks like the people over at Macenstein did something I was never able to do, get an interview with the REAL Ellen Feiss. I’ve had a few people contact me claiming to be her, but no one was actually able to prove it, anyway I digress. The interview over at Macenstein, is one of the most extensive ones I’ve read yet to date. It covers everything from the actual paper that Ellen was writing at the time of her PC’s demise to her thoughts on her recent movie, Bed and Breakfast.
One part of the interview really bothered me though, I started this site the summer after my first semester of college simply because I was bored and had nothing else to do. I had no idea that this would be the result.
It was creepy from the beginning. It was always one of the worst aspects about the whole thing. I was famous but not that famous. It’s not like I had to get a body guard, but my parents stopped letting me go out alone for a while.
But it did seem like things turned out ok in the end.
a lot of my fans have turned out to be nice, intelligent Mac using people.
Anyway if you’d like to read a great interview on what Ellen’s up to, head on over to Macenstein.
Since the contest here was a bust, a whopping 1 entry was received, I’ve created a new site as somewhat of an answer to the I’m a Mac ad campaign.
Sorry for those of you who have posted comments only to have them not show up for weeks. I get around 75 spam comments a day, so you must now register to post a comment, sorry for any inconveniences.
Well the contest is going a lot slower than I expected, but hey Rome wasn’t built in a day. Currently only one spot has been sold.
But in better news I was sent a podcast from The Flux today, a website covering independent films, student films, filmakers, and indie movie fans, who recently did an interview with Ellen Feiss about her role in Bed and Breakfast. My favorite part of the interview had to be when Ellen thought they were going to have her go beep beep beep on air, anyway here’s the link, enjoy.
The pictures below are exclusive scenes from Bed and Breakfast of Ellen Feiss sent to me by Yves Chanvillard the producer of the film. He also mentioned that a trailer would soon be available for viewing as well. I am currently preparing a list of questions to ask him about the film and working with Ellen, if any of you have anything you would like to ask just send an email, and I will be glad to add it to the list.

In my last post I mentioned a contest/fundraiser in order to pay off my student loans. Graduation is right around the corner, and the contest begins today. I’ve also increased the amount of prizes which now include: 1 MacBook or MacBook Pro configured to their specifications, 1 $200 gift certificate for iTunes, 1 iPod Hi-Fi Home Stereo, 1 60gb video Ipod, 1 AppleCare Protection Plan for your MacBook or MacBook Pro, 1 year subscription to .Mac.
